First up a bunch of cards inspired by colorful modern quilts!

WFC201908-310322 Color Combos Die-Channin 6

To create these cards first I die cut 22 different colored cardstocks with one of the dies from the Color Combos Die. I then pieced and glued the diecuts together onto white 5 1/2″ x 8″ panel of cardstock.

Once I covered an area large enough for an A2 panel, I then die cut the panel with the A2 Layers Dies.

I then dry embossed the panels with the new Big Dots Die to create that quilted look. Last, I finished the cards with a sentiment from the Big Dots Sentiment Stamp Set.

I also made a group of cards using the Color Combo for Inkpads Stamp Set! And this wonderful set is FREE with all orders $50 and over, while supplies last.

For these cards I had a lot of fun playing with inks and patterns.

WFC201908-271265 Color Combos for Inkpads-Channin 1

I first hand stamped a design using Snowflake Stazon Pigment Ink.

I then added to the design by stamping with a bunch of Waffle Flower Dye Inks.

I then finished the cards with a white embossed sentiment from the Big Dots Sentiment Stamp Set.

Next up is the beautiful Bouquet Builder 5 Combo Set illustrated by Karla Jodoin!

WFC201908-WFC262 Bouquet Builder 5-Channin 1

For this card I first stamp the large bouquet of flowers in Antique Linen Distress Ink on Strathmore Bristol paper. I then watercolored the flower and leaves in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Once I finished watercoloring the bouquet, I diecut it out with the matching die. I then used the same die to die cut white craft foam. I then cut off a couple leaves from the bouquet to better fit an A2 card. I then used a white gel pen to cover any remaining portion of the leaves and then adhered it to the craft foam and trimmed the  exposed craft foam where the leaves used to be.

Next, I ink blended a background with Fossilized Amber, Ripe Persimmon, and Candied Apple Distress Oxides. I then stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Big Dots Sentiment Stamp Set. I finished the card by adhering the ink blended panel onto an A2 top-folding card base, then adhered the flowers, and lastly added gold sparkle crystals from Studio Katia.

I made a second card with the Bouquet Builder 5 Combo but this time I used my copics.

WFC201908-WFC262 Bouquet Builder 5-Channin 3

I first stamped some of the flowers and leaves from the Bouquet Builder 5 Stamp Set in Memento Tuxedo Black and then colored them in with my copics. Next, I used the Watercolor Swatches Die Set to die cut 5 sets of rings from white cardstock to create a background.

Then I die cut my sentiment from gold cardstock and white craft foam using a sentiment die from the Cake Panel Die Set and adhered the two together. I then adhered an A2 panel of glitter cardstock onto an A2 top-folding card base, then added the rings, sentiment, and the flowers and leaves. Lastly I finished the card by adding clear crystals.

Next up is the Big Dots Combo designed by the mega talented JJ Bolton. So I have used this super versatile stamp and die combo all over my card designs already but the for the next couple of cards I will focus just on this great combo.

So this pair of cards is really fun because I first made the shaker card and then used the scraps to create the second rainbow card!!

For the shaker card, I first die cut five A2 panels of colored cardstock, two white panel, and an A2 panel of white craft foam with the Big Dots Die. I then stamped a sentiment on one of the white panels with the Big Dots Sentiment Stamp Set.

I then adhered the craft foam panel and not stamped white panel onto an A2 top-folding card base. Next, I glued the colored dots into the wells and then filled the wells with sprinkles. I then glued a panel of acetate to the white stamped panel and then adhered it over the wells.

For my second card, I adhered all the colored cardstock big dots panel in rainbow order onto top of each other but slightly off-set to create a rainbow. I then die cut another white panel with the Big Dots Die and then stamped a sentiment. Next, I adhered this panel onto of my rainbow stack, again slightly off-set.

I then trimmed the over hang with a pair of scissors and adhered this stacked strip at the top of the panel to provide some extra support. Next I adhered an A2 panel of glitter cardstock onto an A2 top-folding card base and then finished the card by adhering the stacked rainbow panel.

Okay last card!! This card features the cute Make Waves Stamp Set illustrated by Liz Mytinger!!

WFC201908-271263 Make Waves-Channin 1

I created a fun shaker with this sweet set! First I stamped and copic colored the images from the Make Waves Stamp Set. Next, I die cut an A2 panel white cardstock and a A2 panel of white craft foam with the Cloudscape Panel Die. I then created the sand by ink blending with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Ink, then splattering with Tea Dye on the Cloudscape panel. Next, I ink blended on an A2 top-folding card base turned on its side with Mermaid Lagoon and Blueprint Sketch.

WFC201908-271263 Make Waves-Channin 2

I used a mask that I created with contact paper and the Scenery Die Set to create the look of waves. I then stamped my sentiment onto the cloudscape panel and then adhered it to an A2 panel of acetate. Next, I adhered the craft foam onto the card base and then adhered a few fish and filled the shaker well with sequins. I then sealed the shaker with my top panel and finished the card by adhering the rest of my images to the card front.

And that is it!! I hope you enjoyed! Thanks so much for stopping by!
