Hello friends! In today’s video I demonstrate a really simple technique involving ink and credit card! This fun technique is perfect for creating unique and colorful backgrounds that are great for Father’s Day cards!
Ink Card Swiping Father’s Day Card
Watch below or on my YouTube channel.
First I created the backgrounds with a credit card swiping technique using distress inks. Once I finished the backgrounds I then stamped the three critters from the Be Him Stamp Set in Versafine Onyx Black ink onto Bristol Paper.
I then watercolored the images in with Tombow Dual Brush Pens. Once I finished coloring the images I die cut them out with the matching dies.
I then stamped and white heat embossed some fun sentiments to match the images onto black cardstock, and then trimmed them down to create strips.
I finished the cards by trimming the background panels down by a quarter inch and then adhering them onto A2 cardbases, then adding the images and sentiment strips.
I hope you enjoyed today’s cards and technique! Thank you so much for stopping by!
