Hello friends!! Today I have a really fun pop-up card to share!
Waffle Flower’s new Box Card Die is really cool! I love how easy it is to create and customize this interactive die but it paired with the adorable Office Birthday Stamp Set illustrated by the very talented Liz Mytinger makes for a lot of pure awesomeness!!
Pop-up Office Birthday Box Card

First, I constructed my box with pop-up mechanisms out of 2 Kraft cardstock boxes and 1 white cardstock box using the Box Card Die. Once my box was constructed I then ink blended on the Kraft with Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add some depth and to highlight the score lines. Once I finished ink blending I then stamped the first part of my sentiment on the front of the box.
Next I stamped and copic colored several images from the Office Birthday Stamp Set. However for one of the hamsters, I decided to add a little suit, so I quickly drew that with a fine sharpie. Once all my images were colored I die cut them out using the matching dies.
I then created a little guide to help me place some of my die cut perfectly on the pop-up mechanisms. The guide allowed me to arranged my die cuts the way I wanted them but mainly helped me make sure they were also hidden when the lid of the box was shut.
When my die cuts were arranged the way I wanted them I then glued them to my pop-up mechanisms and also glued some of the other office die cuts to the box. I then stamped a sentiment using my MISTI in Memento Tuxedo Black. Next, I adhered the box to an A2 card base made out of light blue cardstock. I then finished my card by adhering the last 3 hamsters with foam tape.
I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
