Waffle Flower Crafts November Release

Waffle Flower Crafts November Release

Hello all and welcome to Waffle Flower Crafts’ November Release Blog Hop!!

There are some really cute sets and I can’t wait to share with you all my cards so let’s dive right in!

First up is the fun Winter Wishes Stamp Set, illustrated by Kamo. I had so a blast playing with many different techniques with this set! I love the graphic look of the kids and how easy it was to align the stamp layers!

I created a video in which I use partial ink to ink each kid up in a different hue and create gradations to add more visual interest.

Partial Inking with Winter Wishes

Watch below or on my YouTube channel.

For this second card, I stamped the kids from the Winter Wishes Stamp Set and the dog from the Cool Dog Stamp Set in antique linen Distress Ink and did some no-line watercoloring with Holbein watercolors.

I also sketched out the rest of their bodies and watercoloring those sections as well.

To finish up the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Winter Wishes set in VersaFine Onyx Black and then stamped and watercolored some hearts from the Holiday Thanks Stamp Set.

For my last card with the Winter Wishes Set, I first stamped the kids in Distress Oxides; Lucky Clover, Twisted Citron, Abandoned Coral and Spun Sugar, diagonally on the top and bottom of an A2 card panel cut with the largest die from the A2 Nested Rectangles 1 Die Set.

After I stamped the kids, I stamped some stripes with the Plaid Play Stamp Set.

I then stamped and gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Winter Wishes Stamp Set onto a stripe coral cardstock and then adhered the stripe onto my panel.

Next up is the Holiday Thanks Stamp Set. I created 2 cards with this sweet set illustrated by Big Bear and Bird.

For my first card I stamped the main image and a sentiment in VersaFine Onyx Black Ink onto an A2 Panel made from Canson cold press watercolor paper.

Next, I watercolored the main image in with Holbein watercolors.

And to finishe the card I simply glued the panel onto an A2 top-folding card base.

Next up is simple but elegant card using tone-on-tone coloring to add depth and volume.

I created a video for this card as well and you can check it out over at Simon Says Stamp.

  6. Wow!!! Your cards are wonderful. Just like the great video on how you stamped the first card. Thank you for that, as I wasn’t able to figure out how you did that, but now I do. Your water coloring is fabulous. I love how you angeled the kds on the fourth card. And your last is so simple, yet so elegant. Also lije how you included the dog on the one card.

  7. Really love the card you made with winter wishes and all the bright colors! But Holiday THANKS HAS STOLEN MY HEART! 😁

  8. I absolutely LOVE the bear and bird. Your gold on deep red never occurred to me. I thought I would have to always colour it up to make it . But your gold embossed is beautiful and easier.

  13. Those are so cute! Wonderful colors. Wow!
I have not heard of that Misti stamping tool, but I rarely stamp. Still, I want one!

  14. I love how you use Kamo’s stamps. Your styles seem very complementary. And I also like how you and Amy had similar ideas for the monochrome red, but you created it in different ways with different tools to make unique cards. That’s one of the joys of cardmaking for me. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful cards!
