Hello everyone and welcome August!! Since it’s a new month, it’s time for a new Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge!
I got especially excited about this one because there’s a “coloring blocking” square!! Yay!! So not too much of a surprise, but I went straight across the middle; Word Dies, Sparkle, and Color Blocking. And here’s my creation.
So first I pick out some colors of cardstock that I liked together (pink, cream, white, and gold glitter paper). Then on a 5″ by 7″panel of cardstock (I used a messed up panel from a previous card because I wouldn’t be keeping it, just using it to trace from later) I made a series of diagonal lines using a ruler to section off the panel. I then designated a color for each of the sections and then cut out each section using scissors for short sections and a paper cutter for longer sections.
I then took my cut sections and placed them on their designated colored cardstocks, traced around them and cut them out. I put my new pieces back together like a puzzle and then glued them down on my card base. Next I die cut “Smile” using CAS-ual Friday’s Smiling Fri-Dies out of gold glitter paper. I then stamped and gold embossed a sentiment from CFS’s Shenanigans set. I then glued down my “Smile” sentiment and my card was complete! Thanks for stopping by, I hope you found some inspiration and will join us at the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge!
love this card! looks fab
