Matchbook Valentines

Matchbook Valentines

Hello! I’m here to share a card or rather a valentine I created for thePapertrey Ink’s MIM Challenge #237. This was such a fun challenge I just had to participate. I actually ran out to the dollar store to specifically purchase some goodies for my matchbooks so I could play along with this challenge.

First I created my matchbook out of white cardstock and then I embossed it using a PTI embossing plate. Next, I cut the sweet lady bug and sentiment with my cricut. I then glued them down and added a dotted swirly line.
I then stapled my goodie in. The little gift inside is actually a little balloon the self inflates after you smash the packaging with your hand! Cool huh! Lastly, I repeatedly stamped and embossed a small heart with red embossing powder on a strip of black cardstock and then adhered it over the staples. I hope you enjoyed!!
